I’m Deborah Smith the founder and president of Whip,inc. As a reformed addict, through many years of incarceration and eventually being released back into society I discovered first hand that we have a broken system that has left us with a substantial gap leaving many released offenders back in the streets with no place to turn for help and guidance. This has severely impacted our growing homeless population as well as recidivism and crime rates. Whip,inc. Is dedicated in our effort to bridge that gap and provide these particular citizens of our community the individual help, essential support and the opportunity for success. And for that reason I have grown passionate and excited about everything Whip,inc has accomplished and I am ever so grateful to be among the truly inspiring group of people who share in my resolve and make us work.
